Contrary to what I thought, it's not a wood texture but a glossy plastic. The design is pretty and I'm satisfied.
The only thing was the photo made it look 3-dimensional whereas it’s actually a trick of the lighting on the clock itself if that makes sense
quite large, the arrows move quietly.
