Observe the features of your cage BEFORE purchasing. The tray of your cage should not be so high that your rodent cannot pass through the opening without needing a tube from inside the cage. The height between the opening in your cage should be at least 1cm above the edge of the tray, and the edge of your tray should not be more than 1cm thick, otherwise the fit will not be perfect. The product is made of acrylic, very good quality. Comes disassembled, but assembly is easy and the fit of the parts is perfect. It's a good product. However, it will be useless for you depending on the model of your cage. I believe it is better for a Syrian hamster than for a Russian dwarf hamster because it might not be as easy for a Russian dwarf hamster to enter the compartment. I added photos testing its compatibility with tubes found in the Brazilian market. I hope it helps.
