I used it for (for example, new leather shoes/sneakers) that had a very hard sole and painfully rubbed my feet after half an hour of walking. Installing the rubber was extremely simple: you only need to remove the protective film and stick it on the inner surface of the sole. The adhesive base here is very strong; it stuck instantly and does not come off even when the foot moves intensely or sweats a little. The main thing, I repeat, is to thoroughly clean the surface of the shoe before sticking to avoid peeling off.
